Our R+D Dev Project, ARRIVE, looks at new, innovative ways to ease the anxieties and stresses that come with onboarding processes. Whether that means starting a new job, going to a new location or space - the fear of the ‘unknown’ can create additional barriers to participation. We have explored the impact that providing additional information in advance (including images of people you’ll meet and the space you’ll enter, a breakdown of vague terminology, and more descriptive step-by-steps of what to expect) can help make someone feel more at ease in entering new spaces.
